Seating

• The Seat Base: The main seating area consists of a broad, seamlessly finished solid wood plank, offering ample depth and a smooth surface for comfortable lounging.
• The Backrest: The backrest is an architectural marvel, featuring an array of vibrant, hand-painted ceramic tiles set between turned wooden spindles. These square tiles display intricate floral and geometric motifs in striking shades of blue, yellow, and deep red, creating a beautiful contrast against the dark wood.
• Top Crest Carvings: Crowning the backrest is a deeply carved wooden crest showcasing masterfully detailed traditional birds flanking an ornate central floral and foliage motif.
• Armrests and Pillars: The swing is anchored by thick, heavy-turned wooden pillars on either side, which serve as armrests and the primary structural supports. These are detailed with carved rosettes and capped with polished metallic brackets.
• Bottom Trim: The lower edge of the seat is finished with a continuous, deeply contoured carving of flowing botanical scrolls, adding a final touch of elegance to the base.

Paneled Canopy

• Ceiling Mount: The swing is suspended from an expansive, custom-crafted wooden ceiling canopy.
• Design: This overhead panel features a complex, open-fretwork geometric design consisting of interlacing star patterns and traditional Islamic-inspired geometry.
• Integration: The canopy not only conceals the heavy-duty mounting hardware but also frames the swing beautifully from above, creating a cohesive, room-defining architectural element.

Craftmanship

The Santata Shanti Swing is crafted entirely from premium grade Teak wood, a material celebrated for its exceptional durability, density, and natural resistance to wear. The use of Teak allows for the incredibly deep, precise, and crisp carvings visible on the crest and bottom trim. The wood has been treated with a rich, dark walnut polish that highlights the subtle, organic grain of the Teak while providing a warm, lustrous finish that protects the piece for generations.
