Pillars carved from teak, rosewood, and three generations of practice.
We build custom wooden pillars for homes, temples, and verandahs, and source restored antique pillars from old Kerala and Tamil Nadu residences. Every piece is cut, carved, and finished by hand.
Material Selection
Four woods, four different look.
Burma Teak
Dense grain, low shrinkage. The standard choice for load-bearing veranda pillars.
Rosewood
Dark red-brown tone, takes fine detail well. Used for indoor pillars and pooja mandaps.
Mahogany
Lighter weight, even color. Suited to interior columns in non load-bearing settings.
Mango Wood
Budget-friendly, accepts carving readily. Common in courtyard and balcony work.
