Ketaki Loft – Wood Panelled Pavilion

Ketaki Loft – Wood Panelled Pavilion

  • Ketaki (കേതകി) is a sacred, fragrant flower often associated with divine spaces, serenity, and timeless beauty in Indian heritage.
  • It symbolizes subtle opulence and tropical elegance—ideal for a premium architectural identity.

Description

The Ketaki Loft Pavilion draws its essence from the grand naalukettu and ettukettu homes of Kerala, reimagined for today’s heritage-conscious global clients.

With its poetic balance of light, airflow, and vertical rhythm, this structure isn’t merely a staircase—it’s an experience. The angled louvered panels filter daylight like temple eaves, and the vaulted ceiling rises like a floral canopy, creating a meditative chamber of ascent and transition.

Crafted in rich, polished teak, the piece features hand-turned spindles, traditional railings, and a majestic lantern-style roof that glows under a suspended chandelier. It brings to life the idea that movement through a home can be a sacred ritual—ideal for boutique resorts, cultural villas, and premium South Indian homestays.
