 An eight-pointed starburst pattern forming the central focal point, serving as an architectural anchor suitable for hanging pendant lights or chandeliers.

Geometric Lattice Grid (Jali Webbing)

Interlocking wooden lattice runners featuring repeating geometric star motifs (Islamic/Indo-Saracenic influence) that span across the ceiling fields.

Accent Inlays / Bosses

Brass/gilded multi-pointed star ornaments fitted into the intersections of the lattice grid, providing contrast against the dark wood.

Plank Infill Panels

Precision-fitted horizontal hardwood planks arranged in parallel tiers to create depth and texture within the recessed coffered sections.

Craftsmanship

• Joinery: Constructed using traditional mortise-and-tenon and lap joints to secure the intricate interlocking lattice without exposed fasteners.
• Hand Carving & Fitting: Each geometric star lattice element is individually hand-cut and fitted to maintain consistency across the vault.
• Finish & Coating: Multi-layer hand-rubbed wood stain in a rich dark walnut/mahogany shade, sealed with a satin-matte clear coat for protection against moisture and pest degradation.
• Metallic Accents: Brass inlay bosses polished and lacquer-coated to resist tarnish and oxidation.
